Where to Stay in Theth: recommended areas and guesthouses (2026)

Everything wonderful — the setting, the accommodation, the clean, spacious, comfortable room. The staff, the food.

The place is gorgeous, very well kept and full of thoughtful touches. The family's youngsters very attentive and friendly. The dinner and breakfast spectacular. A shame we only stayed one night.

From start to finish, an incredible experience! A place to connect 100% with nature. They're all very friendly and the food/breakfast is delicious.

We spent 2 incredible nights; the views couldn't be prettier and it's very handy for the best trails in Theth. The lads a delight, we wanted for nothing, and it's well worth having breakfast, lunch and dinner at the guesthouse itself because the food is made with lots of love and good produce.

The setting is spectacular; nestled in a spot with views of the Theth mountains, this place is out of this world. The house is beautifully kept, the facilities on a par with the best hotels but with warm, family hospitality. Gjon looked after us throughout.

It's one of those places you want to return to as you're walking out the door. The family who run it are lovely, the food exquisite and the views indescribable — better to see them in person! A wonderful two-day stay, it felt far too short!

Our room was wonderful, well decorated, very spacious and comfortable. Being up high, the valley views are stunning. The care Gjon gave us was spectacular and we're very grateful to him. The breakfasts and dinners are very good and tasty.

A luxury of a stay — the prime location, impeccable facilities and a 10 for the staff. The dinners are traditional dishes and you feel at home. I'd definitely stay again.

It's a traditional house with lots of charm but all the comforts. The setting is incredible and the hosts are lovely people. We were off trekking for a few days and they kept our bags until we got back.

Everything was exceptional; the best part is the kindness of the hosts. I had a problem with the GPS and reached the guesthouse on foot; the next day the host drove me in his car to where I'd left mine — I was hugely grateful. 100% recommended.

The stay at villa prelatheth was excellent. It was easily one of the best stays my family and I have had. The couple who run the villa are very attentive and welcoming, always looking out for guests' comfort. The views exceptional.

We arrived a little late and they'd left the room ready with the heating on. The room is great, super comfortable and clean. And the breakfast very generous (bread, eggs, cheese, crêpe, butter, jam, juice, water and coffee).
